Grants
About Our Grants Program
The PyHo Grants Program is an important part of our mission to build an inclusive, respectful, and accessible community for everyone. We believe participation in technology and open-source should not be limited by financial barriers.
Through our financial aid and grants, we help community members — especially those who might otherwise not be able to attend — to join and contribute to PyHo.
Our grants may cover some portion of attendees’ expenses, which can include travel, accommodation, or other conference-related costs.
Who We Support
Our grants program prioritizes:
- Speakers at the conference
- Community builders and contributors to open-source projects
- Attendees from underrepresented or marginalized groups in tech
- Individuals who will help increase diversity and inclusion in their local communities
- Those with limited financial means or early-career professionals
Funding & Disbursement
While we aim to assist as many people as possible, our financial aid program cannot cover all requested expenses. We encourage applicants to be prepared to contribute at least one-third of their total estimated costs.
Disbursement of funds will only be made to approved recipients upon verification of attendance at the conference. Beneficiaries will be required to present a valid ID and conference badge for identification.
